Singing is something that has always fascinated me, all types. Although I initially trained as a viola player at the Royal College of Music in London, it was singing that quickly became my passion.
I studied at Kingston University where my major was singing, but it was not until I attended a two day workshop with Cathrine Sadolin that I got my first taste of Complete Vocal Technique.
It was here that things began to take off. I was one of the first people in the Netherlands to take the one year course run by the Complete Vocal Institute and followed this sometime later with the follow on course.
I have now completed the 3-year CVT Singer/Singing Teacher Diploma Course in Copenhagen, a great place to learn with expert CVT teachers, and fellow students with a wide range of knowledge and experience, and am now able to offer lessons, both on-line and from my studio in Rotterdam.
I am also currently completing a Practitioner & Executive Advanced Skills Course at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London while also conducting research into how a singer shapes their own voice and vocal identity.
